    My parents decided to start me up playing Rugby League when I was 6. I still remember my first training session like it was yesterday, we were asked to run a lap of the oval for a warm up so I sprinted like I was racing Usain Bolt or back in those days Michael Johnson. I finished playing footy at the age of 34 only missing 2 seasons out of 28 since staring out. I owe this to my passion to staying fit. My parents bought me a gym set from Kmart when was 14, I remember some nights on the back veranda doing weights at all hours of the night and the oldies telling me to go to bed, waking up the next morning and dragging old car tires up the hill in the back paddock and before long I had a gym membership. To this day have never stopped going to the gym and exercising.

    My own passion for fitness has become something I wanted to share with as many people as possible so over 10 years ago I decided to complete my trainers certificates. I started out working in a gym at Grafton soon becoming a fully qualified Personal Trainer.

    Moving around playing footy led me to other careers along the way, though personal training was always there for me as a part time job and never left my side. I moved to the Sutherland Shire around 7 years ago, a place I now call home. I decided to refresh my knowledge with more study and received my Masters Trainer’s certificates to add to my qualifications. For the past 3 years I have gone from working as an outdoor freelance trainer to establishing myself with my own fitness facility in the Shire. I have also been lucky enough to have a roll as a Strength & Conditioning Coach for The Cronulla Sharks and the Sydney Roosters, being involved with elite players.

    I have found my passion for CrossFit over the past three years and worked to wards completing my Level 1 CrossFit Trainer certificate and now being an owner and coach at my very own Box.

    My interest and passion for CrossFit developed just over 4 years ago and still, every day, it gets stronger and stronger

    To me that feeling of having a goal set and reaching it is something everyone should experience. With CrossFit you can and will.

    Growing up I’ve always been involved in team sports such as netball and touch football, transitioning into CrossFit and lifting weights was nerve racking to begin with but throughout my journey learning and seeing what my body was actually capable of, I very quickly overcame those nerves.

    This is where my passion for CrossFit and general health and fitness started. I became a Personal Trainer and completed my Level 1 CrossFit Trainer Certificate.

    I want to help you reach your goals and share my passion, knowledge and experiences with you through coaching.

    Hi, my name is Becky Faraca.

    My family and I have recently moved to Australia from the United States, where I have been coaching CrossFit at CrossFit SolaFide in Clarksville, Tennessee for the last 4 years.

    During this time, I also coached CrossFit SolaFide Kids. I am CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Level 2, and CrossFit Kids Certified.

    I also have a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Chaminade University of Honolulu.

    Amber Raco is our in house Accredited Practising Dieititan with 10 years experience in the field

    Amber has worked in a range of clinical areas and conditions such as Type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance, cardiovascular disease, oncology, respiratory disorders, aged care and weight management

    Amber has a special interest and passion in sports nutrition, food allergies and intolerances, and gastro-intestinal diseases

    Amber is an Accredited Anthropometrist (Level 1 ISAK) in body composition measurements e.g. skin folds and has also lectured students for University of Wollongong Bachelor and Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics and Sydney University Bachelor of Nursing

    Individuals will have different reasons in seeing a Dietitian such as:
    • I feel tired and lack energy
    • I would like to optimise my sporting or training performance
    • I want help in my recovery from injury or illness
    • I can’t seem to gain weight or build muscle mass
    • I want to improve my overall health and wellbeing
    • I am confused about what I should be eating… these days everyone seems to be a nutrition ‘expert’
    • I want some nutrition advice for my food intolerance/s
    • I want to lose weight and I don’t know how or nothing is working
    • I need nutrition advice for my medical condition
